Top three HP Deskjet F380 Myths

The HP Deskjet F380 is a great all-in-one printer, but there are myths about it. No printer is perfect and the F380 is no exception. However, there are many ways to make sure you don’t run into certain issues while you are printing or copying. It has been said the HP F380 has lots of paper jams. It’s also a myth that it goes through lots and lots of ink. There is another myth floating around that it costs a lot. These are the three myths that I will be discussing in this article.

Myth #1- Paper Jams

Paper jams are the bane of copiers and printers. They will always happen regardless of what model of printer or copier you are using. The HP Deskjet F380, is surely not immune to paper jams. There are certain things you can do to make sure the printer doesn’t jam as often. For example, fanning the paper before you put it in the feed will get a little air between the sheets. This will help them not stick together as much and will help your HP All in one printer run more efficiently.

Myth #2- It goes through a lot of ink

Some copiers go through lots of ink, some don’t. The next myth that I want to talk about is, that the HP Deskjet F380 uses a lot of ink. The F380 uses ink roughly the same as most other printers in its price range. The ink itself is not that expensive. There may even be places to buy your ink in bulk to save even more money. Toner is never cheap, so it’s a good thing that the ink for the F380 doesn’t cost an arm and a leg, to start with.

Myth #3- It costs a lot

The last myth that I’ll discuss regarding the HP Deskjet F380 Printer is, it costs a lot. One thing that does cost a lot is buying a printer, a scanner and copier; separately. When you think about that, it puts the price of the F380 more in perspective. If you want a great all-in-one printer the F380 is the way to go and the price of it, is great for what you get. You get printing, scanning, and copying all in one convenient unit. What more could you really ask for from one device?

HP Deskjet F380 All-in-One Printer/Scanner/Copier

To summarize, there are a lot of myths when it comes to printers these days. The HP Deskjet F380 has many myths about it. This is usually due to peoples lack of patience, lack of knowledge, or simply their lack of how to maintain their printer. The myth of lots of paper jams can be taken care of easily, with a few steps. Also, the F380 uses ink at the same rate as most other printers. It’s also a myth that the F380 costs a lot of money. This all-in-one printer is worth every penny and that’s no myth. Two other very good printers to mention are the HP psc 1210 and the HP psc 1315. These printers can do everything the HP F380 does and more.
